Judy Cole has reinvented herself several times, so knows how it feels to go through transition! From Army Officer to freelance journalist to IBM salesperson to her own IT Recruitment business to Sailor to Life Coach, taking in three continents.
She's a creative survivor who thrives on change!
In Dec 2000 Judy and her partner sailed out through Sydney Heads on their 45ft yacht "Destiny" on the start of a World circumnavigation, living a dream she thought would last for many years.
Two years later, waiting waiting for a weather window somewhere in the Caribbean, they concluded the leisurely cruising life-style wasn't for them, so kept heading West, completing the trip in under 3 years.
It was an awesome life experience, and being that close to nature gave me time to reflect on what's really important.
"I'm a far more compassionate, caring person than the one who sailed away!" Judy has created a life she loves, leveraging her life experiences, combining her skill, knowledge and strengths as a networker and communicator, with her natural enthusiasm for life. She is passionate about helping others find the balance between work, contribution, leisure and FUN, through Retirement Life Planning.
As a certified Coach with Cert IV in Assessment and Workplace Training, she keeps active yacht racing on Sydney Harbour, Volunteering with "Sailability", having adventures with Sophie (5) and Patrick (4) her cousins' grandchildren, and playing golf! Judy won a silver medal in the 2009 World Masters Games in Sydney in the Access 303 single 55-65 dinghy sailing class! |
